Sigh... I'll significantly reduce my funsies online time for at least a week to give my eyes a rest and free up time for walks in the park and exercise after the day's work. So please don't think I go all silent on you, friends, and won't ever return. I will and I will still answer mails. I just need to prioritise at the moment, reschedule and re-energise, spend a little less time reading and commenting in blogland.
Not going without a sneak peak of something that will finally be finished during this break, though.
I scored some Prym press studs on the cheap for the bibs.
Still not cheap cheap, true, but cheaper than usual because these are way old. The packaging still says "Made in W.-Germany" and I haven't seen four-digit postcodes since 1993! But hey, press studs don't mold or suddenly disintegrate, do they?

ReplyDeleteEnjoy your break - I know how it feels when you lose the will to sew because you are overwhelmed with ideas...I'm sure you will feel like sewing again soon :)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your break! I hope it helps! And those bibs are super cute, I should probably get around to making a few.... :)
ReplyDeleteOh I do hope you're feeling better soon and the migraines clear. Enjoy a little break!
ReplyDeleteYou will be missed! But I can totally relate... lately I've been losing sleep just to sew because it's the only time I can fit it into my schedule, so hats off to you for keeping your priorities in order ;)
ReplyDeleteBreaks are good. :) I'm planning a break soon myself to have a little downtime. Enjoy your recharge time and feel better with the migraines! I know how painful that can be.
ReplyDeleteTake a good break. I came out of migraine season just recently. Love the press studs packaging. So 80s!
ReplyDeleteHope your break helps the migraines ease up!
ReplyDeleteLove the look of those bibs!
Super cute bibs!
ReplyDeleteAmandaK@whatthebobbin
that looks like about the same pattern that I use for the bibs that I make.
ReplyDeleteI do, however, love the idea of putting a towel piece on one side! I just use the flannel on both sides.
those cute bibs remind me i have a baby shower to attend this week . . . and i really like the towel idea. thanks for sharing
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean I was just thinking sometimes there's a fine line between not enough and too much all at once and I seem to always push myself to the too much size and get overwhelmed, and then nothing gets done. Have a good break and come back refreshed and inspired.
